Description

The Cups Half Full series features inspiring words and powerful phrases stamped onto flattened sterling silver arcs. This medium sterling silver necklace has "shema" in Hebrew stamped on one side, and "hear o israel" in English on the other. The 1 1/2-inch-wide arc is centered on a 16" sterling silver cable chain.

Emily started making her own jewelry in 1991 in Oakland, CA, running her business out of a Murphy bed closet. Now settled in Western Massachusetts, with a view of birch trees and a river she swims in during the summer, her studio is in a converted factory building filled with other artists. She feels continually inspired to develop new designs and play with new materials and techniques.

She is privileged and thankful to be part of the immensely supportive and loving community of craftspeople and crafts buyers. Making her work makes her very happy and she hopes owning it brings a measure of joy as well.

I lost my first one. Absolutely had to replace it

I bought the Half-full Shema Cup necklace for myself one or two years ago. I generally never take it off, but I did for a medical test. Since then, I haven’t been able to find it. Missing it on my neck, I ordered another one and it is as beautiful as the first. The pendant, of course, was the reason I purchased it but the chain is also special. It’s delicate and has a way of sparkling when it moves. I love it and wear it 24/7.
