Sands Pastel Wedding Shards Mezuzah with break glass cylinder combines handmade fused glass with hand cast pewter. The Sands Pastel pattern it is a combination of blue, pink, green and purple glass enamels. The tube on the front is for the couple to fill with the shards of their wedding break glass and makes a wonderful keepsake. The scroll fits in the back and is included (non-kosher) as are the nails to hang it. Kosher scroll sold separately. We recommended pre-nailing holes in the water to avoid hammering on the glass.

Disappointed.

I don't appreciate how this product has the glass behind it. Especially for the price, I thought it was the Mezuzah and glass. I bought this a day after my grandmother's funeral because her favorite color was purple and my wedding was the following week. After paying express shipping, and receiving the product, I did find the note that the glass wasn't included. Fast forward to after the wedding, the piece is difficult to install and the mezuzah itself is glass. I accidentally knocked the corner with the hammer and it cracked. I ended up pitching the piece and bough a better pewter Mezuzah off Amazon for a much better price.

Beautiful Mezuzah!

I purchased the Mazel Tov glass and velvet pouch along with this beautiful Mezuzah for my daughter and her new husband. The smashing of the glass is always a poignant moment and they loved the entire set. Would purchase again with no hesitations!
